Charles & De

Chef Charles Tjessem won the first prize and gold medal in the prestigious Bocuse d’Or competition in 2003. His restaurant, Charles & De, is well suited for meetings, seminars, wine tasting and celebrations.

Gaffel & Karaffel

A variety of products are on offer at Gaffel & Karaffel. There is a restaurant on the first floor and a banqueting room that can seat 110 guests on the second floor. The fourth floor is reserved for conferences and meetings. The Metal Room can serve 24 and the Crystal Room has capacity for 48. The champagne bar in the cellar is perfect for aperitifs.

Straen Seafood Restaurant

With the North Sea as its food store, Straen Fiskerestaurant will never risk running out of ingredients. This is a high-standard seafood restaurant, with an interior reminiscent of the hey days of the shipping and fishing industries. Seasonal variations and maritime traditions are reflected in the menu.

Vannari Food, Beer and Wine Cellar

This is one of Stavanger's most unique banquet rooms. Vannari is a food, beer and wine cellar perfect for all social events. Suitable for business meetings as well as private parties, it is located in one of Stavanger's oldest buildings and has capacity for 60 guests.


Outside Stavanger you can enjoy home-made products composed of the finest local and organic ingredients. The dining room on the second floor can accommodate up to 70 guests. With modern AV equipment Matsalen offers a great combination of food and meetings both in the day and into the evening.

Flor & Fjære

Flor & Fjære is a restaurant located on a small tropical island with a garden full of exotic plants and palm trees. A scenic boat trip on the local fjords takes you from Stavanger to the island in 20 minutes. Flor & Fjære has banqueting rooms suitable for small, intimate parties (minimum 25 guests) or large events for up to 300 delegates in a single dining room. The restaurant has a beautiful panoramic view of the fjords and mountains.

Stavanger Concert Hall

Located in the beautiful surroundings of Bjersted Park, a 10-minute walk from the city centre, the concert hall in Stavanger is the city's main venue for concerts and shows. Stavanger Concert Hall can also be used for receptions and banquets, and can seat up to 1,500 guests simultaneously.
