Conference facilities
The Grand Hotel Conference Centre has everything you need for a successful meeting or conference. Grand Hotel has conference rooms with modern audio-visual equipment for up to 300 delegates.
The conference secretariat is centrally placed in the foyer area and the staff are there to make everything run smoothly. There are seating areas in the large foyer where participants can relax during breaks. This area can also be used for exhibitions and receptions.
World-class quality cuisine
The hotel’s popular Norwegian and international cuisine, as featured in Grand Café and Palmen Restaurant, is of world-class quality. Palmen Restaurant is renowned for its architectural beauty with its distinctive glass dome, which allows the light to flood in from above. On the top floor of the Grand Hotel you will find Etoile Bar with an outdoor terrace affording a beautiful view of downtown Oslo.
The Nobel Peace Prize banquet
Grand Hotel is the venue for the annual Nobel Peace Prize banquet. Hotel staff can recreate an authentic Nobel banquet for up to 300 guests. The table is set with special Nobel tableware, individual menu cards are presented for guests to keep and of course your selected Nobel menu is served. The hotel has menus dating back several years, offering a wide choice to fit the occasion of your Nobel evening.
Scandinavian spa
The luxurious Scandinavian style Artesia Spa is located on the top floor. It is one of its kind in Norway and features seven treatment rooms. The spa has a swimming pool, aromatherapy crystal steam room, sauna and general and private group relaxation areas.
The Ladies Floor
The Ladies Floor is a separate floor with 13 rooms dedicated to some of Norway’s most talented women.
