When staying at Farsuns Resort you enjoy great fishing in the Spindsfjord. The fjord is a short distance from the open sea and other good fishing places. Here you find a variety of species: Cod, pollack, coley, mackerel, flatfish, eel, ling and so on. The type of catch will vary depending on wind, weather and season.

Farsund Resort provides overnight accommodation in lodges and apartments of exceptionally high standard. The lodgings can accommodate 4, 6 or 8 guests. All bedrooms en-suite with open plan kitchen living space. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 4 hob cooker, oven, fridge freezer, coffee maker and kettle. Satellite TV and radio in living room. Wireless connection.

Boats and organised tours
Farsund Resort hires out boats of the model Skager 660, 22 foot – 20 HP. Diesel. Echo sounder and chart plotter (Trackfish 660). GPS, AIS, VHF. Life jackets.
If you want to take part in an ocean fishing trip, the reception at Farsund Resort can book tickets for you.
Service centre
Positioned by the waterfront, near the cabins and apartments. Encircled by an attractive quay. Reception, grocery store and a lovely restaurant with added outdoor dining section.
The reception centre offers tourist and weather information, sightseeing bookings and will assist with all queries you may have during your stay.

Farsund Resort holds a central position in Southern Norway. 1, 5 hours drive from Kristiansand and 2, 5 hours from Stavanger.

The nearest airport is Kristiansand Airport Kjevik. SAS, Norwegian and KLM all operate flights to Kjevik. SAS operates domestic routes and the route Kjevik – Copenhagen. Norwegian operates the route Kjevik – Oslo. KLM operates the route Kjevik – Amsterdam.

The nearest train station is Snartemo (served by the Stavanger – Oslo Railway Line which is operated by the Norwegian State Railways - NSB). Snartemo is approximately a 40-minute drive from Farsund Resort.
Road directions:
Follow road rv. 43 from Lyngdal towards Farsund. After approximately 8 kilometres, take a left by Kollevoll, by the sign for Bjørnevåg. The distance from Kollevoll to Berghøydne Guesthouse is 2 kilometres and to Bjørnevåg 4,5 kilometres.
