Østerdalen one of the major valleys in eastern Norway. It lies between Gudbrandsdalen to the west and the Swedish border to the east.

Fishing

Østerdalen has some of the country's best rivers for grayling and trout fishing. The rivers vary in character, and feature waterfalls, rapids and deep pools as well as long stretches of slow-flowing water. Tarns and lakes with trout, grayling and Arctic char offer excellent fishing, and are ideal for family outings.

Spydspissen Wilderness Adventures

Activities such as dog sledding, canoeing, kayaking, fishing or animal tracking are offered by Spydspissen Wilderness Adventures.
