Getting to Moss and around

Moss and its surrounding areas are easy to get to.

By car

The Moss region is easily accessible by car (and bus) on the E6 from Oslo and Gothenburg in Sweden. The distance from Oslo is 54 kilometres (a 50-minute drive), and between Moss and Gothenburg it is 230 kilometres.

By aeroplane

There are several direct flights between Moss Airport Rygge and destinations in Europe, mainly operated by Norwegian and Ryanair.

By train

Take the train to Moss from for example Oslo or Gothenburg. For more timetables and more information, please contact the Norwegian State Railways (NSB).

By ferry

There is a ferry service across the Oslofjord, between Moss and Horten, run by Bastø Fosen. The ferry crossing only takes around 30 minutes.
