The exhibitions are filled with exciting experiments and interactive installations you can try out, for example "The maritime world", "Energy in the environment" and "Numbers are everywhere". You can run in the hamster wheel, lift yourself off the ground, test yourself to see if you are "King of the trash heap" or an "environmental pig". For the youngest children there is an activity room called Pythagoras with a climbing wall, fish pond and other educational activities. At weekends and during school holidays there is a varying program. Come along on a spectacular trip into space with 3D, create your own slime, compete in car jumping or what with a exciting encounter with Pythagoras. Vitensenteret Sørlandet is a science centre located in Arendal, offering various teaching plans for children and youth all year. Schools and kindergartens can come and visit, and the science centre can go on tour. It's also possible to celebrate birthdays in the science centre. The Science centre is open all year to groups by appointment. Other events are arranged throughout the year.
