Gjendesheim lies at the gateway to the Jotunheimen National Park. It is beautifully located on Lake Gjende. The Besseggen ridge, one of Norway’s most popular mountain hikes, is nearby.
Opening hours:
Winter 2012: 19. February until 9. April. In addition we keep open 13. to 15. April 2012.
Summer 2012: 15. June until 7. October 2012.
The DNT membership may be purchased at DNT’s staffed lodges.
If the DNT-cabin is full, guests are always guaranteed a place to sleep.
