In the childrens area you can buy an activity card that includes activities such as trampolines, bouncy castle, moguls, 4-wheeler (ATV), mini scooter, sledding and more. Plenty of seating for people who want to spend the whole day out. Extra slow lift for the youngest.
Rauland is home to one of Norway's largest tobagganing centre, Vierli Vinterland, where you can hire a tobaggan and the necessary equipment, and receive thorough training if required. The tobaggans are specially designed to be hooked on to the ski lift and hauled to the top. Once you reach the top, simply launch yourself down one of the three runs, up to 1000 metres in length. You can control your speed, as the tobaggan is fitted with good brakes.
Vierli also offers night tobagganing with head torches every Wednesday and Saturday at 18:00-21:00.
Other activities in Vierli Vinterland and Skisenter you can join is snow scooter riding on a track for adults (requires a snow scooter licence) and snow rafting after a snowmobile in a small rubber boat.
Vierli amenities include a café, warm-up room, cloakrooms, ski hire, ski school, and a goods transport service by snowmobile.
