Stavanger Concert Hall has now become the new cultural arena for the Stavanger Region with its opening of two new spectacular concert halls the 15th September 2012. The program so far is exciting and the highlights are yet to be announced. Thanks to the revitalisation of Stavanger Concert Hall and Stavanger's position as European Capital of Culture the city will also host the Spellemann Award from 2013.

Stavanger Concert Hall is the citys main venue for concerts and shows, and is also an attractive facility for meetings, galas and other gatherings. Located in the beautiful surroundings of Bjergsted Park, a ten-minute walk from the city centre of Stavanger. The Stavanger Concert Hall now includes three large concert halls of exceptional standard and other related smaller arenas of music.

The new Concert Hall contains two large halls with changing rooms, rehersal rooms for the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, a foajée with restaurant, café and bars with breathtaking view of the surrounding scenery, and an outdoor theatre for larger concerts. The two halls are specially designed for different musical expressions and genres. Both halls have adjustable acoustic. The construction has made it possible to have a symphony concert in one hall and a rock concert at the other - at the very same time! The foajée is common for both halls. 

Zetlitz
The multiple-use hall is a hall with great flexibility. It can easily be adjusted to various types of concerts and shows. The main goal is to create the main arena for rock and musical theatre. This concert hall may also present opera. It can easily be changed from an amphi theatre to a flat hall, or adjusted to become an arena or a catwalk. It may fit both a small and a large orchestra. Capacity is from 860 people up to 1900 people.

Fartein Valen
The Orchestra hall is intimate and grand at the same time!
Adapted to large symphoni orchestras and small chamber orchestras. The volum of this concert hall may be changed according to the size of the orchestra. Maximum capacity is 1500 seats, including both regular seating, three galleries on the sides and three balconys i the back of the hall. The volume and accordingly also the acoustic, is changed by adjusting the ceiling, giving worldclass acoustic.

The Bjergsted Concert Hall
This concert hall is the traditional concert hall situated in the Bjergsted Park, and familiar to most locals since 1982.
This is where the audience meets international renowned artists as well as local talents. As well as a broad range of concerts and performances, both musicals, shows, classical ballet and modern dance are set up in this hall. It may seat up to 1100 people.

The Bjergsted Foajée
The Bjergsted Foajée is used for informal concerts and hosts a summer programme of free concerts every day for the month of July, often combined with a culinary menu. The summer programme is announced around June each year.
