Would you like to experience something out of the ordinary?
Then staying in a lighthouse might be something for you. Kvanhovden Lighthouse lies just outside Florø, approx. 30 mins journey by boat. Right out on the coast, where the sky meets the sea, lies the lighthouse. Words can not describe the view you have from the cliff the lighthouse stands on. In good weather you can sit out on the terrace and enjoy the sunset and tranquillity. But if it storms it's an even bigger experience. You feel very small as the waves break up over the living room window, but at the same time safe in a lighthouse which has withstood storms and wind for more than over 100 years.
The lighthouse is simply furnished and has room for 10 people in three bedrooms. You have to bring bedding. It is electricity in the lighthouse and a bathroom with shower, wc and hot/cold water.
The kitchen has gas stove, kettle, coffee maker, fridge and a small freezer. The kitchen has crockery for 15 people.
