Loppa fishing centre, a perfect base for touring this land of the midnight sun. Fantastic sea and inland angling is to be had here, and no need to fish far from the camp.
The fishing here is world class.
Come and see for yourself and smash you previous personal best catches. Huge cod, coalfish and halibut are caught here most days all through the season between April – October.
You can fish just outside of the apartments or around the islands of Silda and the magnificent grounds around the famous Loppa island.
Loppa Opplevelser is situated on the inside of Sør Tverrfjord, in the area of Norway known as Finmark.
To reach Loppa Opplevelser, you need to fly to Alta airport then take a minibus transfer or a rental car for the one hour and fifty minute drive to the ferry at Oksfjord. The ferry times can be checked on www.ffr.no
If you intend to take a car on the ferry you will need to contact the host at least one week before arrival so that space can be booked on the ferry (it is not necessary to take the car as it can be left at Oksfjord).
Loppa Opplevelser has two large apartments in the main house which each sleep up to six persons, one house named Storhaug, which sleeps up to eight persons and the newly renovated house named Krambua which sleeps up to six persons.
The fishing boats consist of four 19’/50hp Kvaerno boats, one 22’/80hp Kvaerno boats, three new 23’/115hp Dolmoy cabin boats, and two rowboats, for use in the lake.
Prices accommodation from: NOK 9,246 per week, based on six persons in one apartment. Extra per person over 6, NOK 700.
19’/50hp boat from: NOK 5,438 per week.
Cleaning at the end of the stay: NOK 1,000.
Ferry ticket is payable by the customer onboard the ferry.
