The city's own museum presents Oslo's history through models, paintings and photographs.
Next to the museum is Frogner Manor, which contains magnificent halls and interiors from about 1750-1900.
Guided tours in Norwegian at 12 noon and 2 pm on all open days in summer (1 July-15 August) and on weekends the rest of the year.
