When the light returns - Better Moments

The last few months Svalbard have been covered in darkness. Now, in the days before the sun is about to return, the twilight reveals the most amazing landscape. Be the first to discover endless valleys, tight riverbeds and high mountains, all of which have been hidden by darkness for the last few months.

On this trip, we will drive in areas that has been out of reach for most people since the snow melted last spring. The area we will explore with our snowmobiles is called Nordenskiöldland. The snow will reflect the little light that comes, the colours range in a million shades of blue. This is what all the locals on Svalbard have been looking forward to throughout the dark season.

This is an “open destination” trip. This means that our guide will use his/her local knowledge and experience to find the ultimate route and destination to enjoy this beautiful light.

Important Information:
- A valid driver’s licence for car or motorbike is required to drive a snowmobile. Remember to take it with you on the tour. The passenger does not need to have a driver’s licence. Participants that are driving is obliged to ensure that their driver's license is valid in Svalbard. Please contact the responsible authorities in case of any questions. The guide will control the driver's license and will refuse participation from driving if the driver's license is not valid in Svalbard. No refunds will be given due to an invalid driver's license.
