Fishing holiday - Skagerrak Feriesenter Tregde

Skagerrak Feriesenter Tregde offers cabins and holiday apartments of a high standard. The centre is located in an idyllic setting with views of the Tregde archipelago just 6 km east of Mandal, and 48 km west of Kristiansand in Southern Norway.

Some of the apartments are located quayside along with a shop, a restaurant and a seawater swimming pool. The other apartments and cabins are set back from the seafront on a hill, enjoying great views of the sea. All apartments are fully equipped, and great for self-catering holidays. However, the resort also has an excellent restaurant, with seafood and fish as its speciality. 
The holiday resort is perfect for fishing holidays, and since it lies protected from the open sea, fishing is possible year round. The main fishing season starts medio March and lasts until end October. You should avoid the busiest time in summer, then the water is also quite warm, and the biggest fish move to deeper water. 

You may rent fishing boats at the marina where they have a large selection of different sized fishing boats for rent. The resort also have a gutting room and large freezers available. In the shop you may also buy fishing equipment and don´t forget to get ask the locals for tip on where to catch "the big one".
