With so many marked trails right on your doorstep, the possibilities are plenty. From gentle walks in the surrounding area to longer hikes up mountainsides and along the fjords. You can either venture out by yourself or ask us to organise a guide.

This area at the gateway to the stunning World Heritage fjord landscape is at its best during the summer and autumn months. Come and experience the fjords, mountains, glaciers and farms, all just a stone’s throw from Myrkdalen Hotel.

Season: June – September
It is possible there may be snow on the highest peaks in June. Trips along the fjords can therefore be an excellent alternative.
