The Gol and Golsfjellet areas offer well prepared and safe hiking trails, up-to-date sign posting, easily accessible mountain tops. You will find rest stops with grill cabins and easily accessible lakes for swimming and fishing.
The main hiking season is from June to August.
Forrest clad valleys and splendid high mountain areas with both hilly and a flat terrain with a beautiful view to Jotunheimen, Hallingskarvet and Hemsedal.
Fjellferie AS offers walks from hotel to hotel in the Gol and Hallingdal mountains. Baggage transport is included.
Veslefjell
VeslefjellrundenEasy hike. Start the hike by the Storefjell ski lift. Follow the markings past Gullknappen and along the pond Veslefjelltjernet. Here you may choose if you want to hike alongside, or over Veslefjell, on your way to Storefjelltoppen. Follow the trail to Bjørnalia from Storefjelltoppen and down to the bottom station of the ski centre.

Roundtrip on Gol Mountain Plateau - longA longer tour around the Golsfjellet plate. Start at Storefjell Skilift, pass Langhøgdi up to Syno top. (Lauvsetvarden). From her you have a nice view at Hallingskarvet, Jotunheimen and Hemsedal. Follow the track down from the top, and take the track to the right to Veslefjell. Then follow on the track passing Veslefjell and back to Storefjell Skilift.
