Start in Sunndalsøra. See one of Norway's most beautiful mountain valleys, Innerdalen, the famous Surna salmon river in Surnadal, the gateway to Trollheimen, Rindal - Oppdal with alpine skiing and marked trails in to the Trollheimen mountain range.
There are arked trails in to the Sunndal mountains /Dovre - Back to Sunndalsøra.Distance: about 200 km.
From Krisitiansund - Across impressive bridges to the main island of Smøla, where the road circles the island - Many small and idyllic bays and coves with settlements where the fisherman/farmer has shaped the landscape - Back to Kristiansund. Distance: about 160 km.
«Fjordruta» is the name given to the newest and most unique KNT (Kristiansund and Nordmøre Turistforening) hill-walking trail through the mountains. All of 11 lodges are situated at suitable stages along the route of a delightful round trip in the districts of Aure/Tustna, Hemne, Halsa, Rindal and Surnadal.
