Voss is a historic town set amongst the beautiful scenery of Fjord Norway. From the centre there is easy access to the two ski areas: Voss Resort and Voss Fjellandsby, Myrkdalen.
Family fun is the key to Voss, in addition to great skiing you will find great shopping in the compact village centre.
Voss Resort has several areas for beginners, at the base, and up in the mountain itself.
Intermediate and expert skiers are spoilt for choice with wide open tree-lined runs with complete absence of queues.
In Myrkdalen, 25 kilometres outside the centre of Voss there is an exciting new ski area. With most of the runs above the tree line, you can pick your own track, whether you are on alpine, snowboard or crosscountry skis.
Voss is also well known for its other Winter activities such as snowshoeing, tandem paragliding, riding on a horse-drawn sleigh and ice fishing.
Want to try more than skiing? The famous “Norway in a nutshell” trip takes you through spectacular fjord scenery. Experience the scenic Bergen and Flåm Railway, the Aurlandsfjord, Nærøyfjord (included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List) and the steep hairpin bends of Stalheimskleiva.
