Travelling by Air

Norway is close. Flying time from the UK is usually under two hours; from Scotland, as little as one hour. There are several direct flights a week in winter to airports serving the ski resorts, from ten airports around the UK.

British Airways flies Heathrow to Oslo (0870 850 9850)

Norwegian flies Stansted and Edinburgh to Oslo, plus Gatwick to Bergen

Ryanair flies to Oslo Torp from Stansted, Liverpool and Prestwick; and from Stansted to Haugesund (0871 246 0000)

SAS - Scandinavian Airlines flies to Oslo from Heathrow, Gatwick, London
