The building is decorated with items from the silversmith tradition in the Setesdal Valley. The owner himself is a third-generation silversmith. We have a silversmith’s workshop, and a shop with a wide range of silver items and gifts produced on site.

Winter in Setesdal

Thanks to its location and climate, the entire Setesdal Valley enjoys long and stable winters. Hovden is the largest alpine centre in the region.

What to do in Hovden

Hike one of several summits in the Hovden area, fish for trout in one of the local lakes, or go cross-country skiing on top-class tracks come winter.
