Description

Valhall is an adventure centre located on the island Krøttøy near Harstad, which was part of Tore Hund’s realm during Viking times. We offer a wide range of nature-based experiences in the world's northernmost archipelago and accommodation in a newly renovated building, which was formerly part of a coastal military fort.

Accommodation is available in 12 double rooms, all of which have private bathroom facilities, and four family rooms. These rooms have bunks and sleep up to five people and share a large communal bathroom. All rooms feature a desk and office chair and a table where you can enjoy a good cup of coffee after an action-packed day.

Our restaurant seats 20-30 guests. We serve dishes based on local fresh ingredients.

Guests can choose between a wide variety of activity options on and around Krøttøy and Meløyvær. Experience the rich animal and bird life at close range by cycle, try free-diving, hire one of our fishing boats and test your fishing luck or a RiB for a deep-sea rafting trip or an archipelago safari.

To get you Valhall, you may travel by express boat from Harstad or Senja or use your own boat.
