Description

Ulvik is an excellent area for hiking, with marked trails through orchards and cider farms, woods and high mountains. A good hiking map is available and one of the highlights is the hike up to MountKvasshovden1030 metersabove sea level. This is a demanding hike available in June - September and takes 7 hours. Staying at Brakanes Hotel in Ulvik is a good starting point for many hikes, several of them starting right at the doorstep of the hotel. www.brakanes-hotel.no
