Description

The Norwegian Aviation Museum is Norway’s national aviation museum.

The museum conveys an intimate experience of aviation and its fascinating history, with the help of impressive exhibitions spread across an area of approximately 10,000 m2.

Here you can see famous and infamous military aircraft such as the Spitfire, CF-104 Starfighter, Ju 88 and the U-2 spyplane, or workhorses and passenger aircraft like the Ju 52, Twin Otter and Fokker F.28. How about a trip to the Mediterranean via our exhibition on the history of charter tourism? Play and learn about the air in “How can man fly?” Or join one of our skilful guides on a guided tour for children or adults during the summer - fun and educational.

In the museum’s control tower you have a unique view of the city and airport, and can follow the day’s aircraft and traffic at close quarters.

Fancy a mind-blowing experience? Then try the museum flight simulator – if you dare!
