Description

The tour starts from our plant in Kobbenesveien 8 in Gjesvær.

Crag cages placed days in advance will be pulled up from about 110 metres depth. It takes from 20 to 30 minutes by boat to the fishing grounds.

Usually we pull one cage, but it happens that we pull two; to get enough crab for a good meal. We add new bait in their cages as they are drawn, and release them again.

The king crab is cleaned so that it is just to throw them in the pot when we get back. After half an hour the crabs are ready to be eaten, a wonderful delicious meal in our restaurant where you can buy the wine that best suits you meal.
