If you are travelling by car on the E6 the exit to Halden is exit 2. From here it is about six kilometres to the town centre of Halden.
From E18, you follow route 21 from Ørje.
The blue-green route (road 165 in Sweden and route 22 in Norway) is a nice alternative to the E6 if you are coming from Gothenburg.
