Hiking in Moss

The beautiful countryside of Moss provides you with hiking and works of art for you to enjoy.

Moss offers day-trip walks through lush countryside, along the Oslofjord, through woods and beautiful cultural landscapes to viewpoints and past cafés serving delicious, home-made bread, cakes and hot coffee. Along the way you can stop at galleries and handicraft workshops.

The Moss region is surrounded by water, with the Oslofjord on one side and the idyllic Lake Vansjø, the area's drinking water source, on the other. The countryside is accessible through a comprehensive network of walking trails.  The hiking season is May - October.
