Camping

Along rv. 7 you will find the small Nesbyen Camping southeast of the town centre, and Sutøya Holiday Park on a small peninsula in the Hallingdalselva River just to the west. Fekjan Senter Camping lies right by the most fantastic mountain areas in Nesbyen.

Hotels, apartments and cottages

Thoen Hotel lies right in the middle of the old part of town. Stroll along pleasant trails from the town center and up into the hills, or wander around town and learn about the architecture and people.

Hagaled Gjestegård lies just one kilometre from the town center. Here you can stay in the main house with rooms in old upper-class style, or in small cottages. Hagaled is one of the oldest farmsteads in the village.

Smedsgården offers rooms and apartments. Smedsgården is known for its excellent and generously sized meals.

Qvisten Ferieleiligheter og Friluftsbad is located by the entry to the town center from rv 7. Qvisten has a restaurant, petrol station and a grocery store. 4- and 6-bed apartments with all facilities, and an outdoor pool with a sunbathing area and a heated pool with diving board.

Another alternative is a village vacation, where you stay at the farms in the town centre.

In the mountains

It is just a 20-minute drive from the town centre to the mountains.

The Myking area by Mykingsjøen:
Find tranquility, great food and closeness to nature at Fagerhøy Fjellstue (1,000 metres above sea level). Ranten Hotell is situated a bit further in on the mountain, and is a traditional hotel with for example an indoor swimming pool.

The Nystølen area:
Nystølen & Trollset Hyttegrend has long traditions of welcoming guests for long stays. Large, comfortable self-service cabinsclose to the beautiful Nesningsfjellet Mountain. There is also also a café with catering.

Holiday cabins in the mountains can be hired through Nesbyen Tourist Information. There are both large and small cabins with good facilities. You can also book your accommodation online.
