Every winter a part of the Bragernes Torg – in the middle of Drammen – transforms into a skating rink. Here young and old can have a nice time after some shopping or before they go to the cinema or theatre.
If you would like to go cross-country skiing in great surroundings, you should try the wooded mountain area of Finnemarka. In the winter this is a skier’s paradise not far from the city centre of Drammen. Here you will find kilometres of prepared cross-country tracks. One of the most popular places to start skiing is at Eiksetra.
This is a ski centre for everyone who loves to ski or snowboard. The ski centre has 4 kilometres of slopes, and an altitude difference of 300 metres. Ski school and ski rental.
The rink is open for guests and schools during the daytime, whilst in the evenings it is used by local clubs and organisations.
