A Wolf's Kiss

An extraordinary experience, where you can meet the wolves of Polar Zoo inside their enclosure.

Wild meeting with wolves at Polar Zoo

Wolf Camp in Bardu, Troms, was founded to ensure better lives for wolves in captivity, for educational purposes, and to give visitors the possibility of an unique experience with wolves. Wolves are genetically fearful of humans and for this reason, non-socialised wolves in captivity often live a stressful life in fear of the crowd. The wolves of Wolf Camp are socialised to humans. They are wolves just like any other with one exception: they do not fear human beings and enjoy our company as part of their environment.

Meet the wolves - up close and personal

You will be inside the enclosure for an hour together with the wolves. The wolf staff will be with you the whole time and will tell you all you want to know about the wolves, while you and the wolves are getting to know each other. Meet this mythical animal and unravel the actual truth about the wolf at Wolf Camp.

Information

You must be at least 15 years old, able bodied, dressed properly and willing and able to follow instructions to meet the wolves. Wolf Camp's primary concern is safety, for both visitors and wolves. Max. 15 people in a group.

Prices:
NOK 600,- pr. person (1 hour with the wolves) Minimum price: NOK 3,000,-.
