Alpine skiing and snowboarding

With its 27 pistes, 8 lifts and a total of 27.5 kilometres of groomed descent, the Hovden Ski Centre offers a variety of slopes for every skill level.

The terrain park is the place for those who want to explore their acrobatic skills. The 1,250-metre Bukkerittet (the Buckride) terrain park has a wide selection of rails and jumps for snowboarders and skiers. It is suitable for beginners as well as for more advanced skiers.

New for the 2011 season

  • Breakfast run: Every Saturday from 1 March 2011 and onwards, from 7:30 to 9:30 am. Start your day with a basic breakfast at the Ski Shop, beginning at 7 am, before stepping outside and hitting the freshly groomed slopes before anyone else!
  • A comprehensive weekly programme from the first weekend of January 2011 to the end of the season.

Every Thursday between 6 January and 10 February 2011, you may take part in a downhill torchlight procession during the evening skiing.

For the children

The children's area at Hovden Ski Centre, Tusseland, has all the facilities needed for young guests. A magic carpet (conveyor belt) for beginners and a ski tow bring the children to the top of the slopes. Try our ski carousel, junior snowmobiles and toboggan run. We offer childcare services and toboggan rental. The children's area has its own kiosk and a small lounge.
