Shopping in Setesdal

Traditional handicrafts are available throughout the Setesdal region, but Evje offers the widest selection of shops locally.

In Setesdal you can find local handicrafts unavailable in largers towns and cities. The villages have well-assorted grocery stores, but when it comes to wine and liquor stores, there is only one outlet of the Vinmonopolet in the entire valley - you will find it in Evje.

Hannåsvollen Farm, Evje

At Hannåsvollen you will find a gallery, gifts and home decoration.
Open daily noon - 6 pm except Mondays.

Glashytta, Bygland

This glassblower's workshop opened in 2000. It is situated near Bygland Museum and is open to the public. Here is both production and sale of glassware.

Setesdal Craft Centre, Valle

A fine selection of handicrafts, gifts and souvenirs, including the traditional Setesdal sweater, are on sale at Setesdal Craft Centre.

Hovden Sport, Hovden

Sports shop in the centre of Hovden offering a wide selection of sporting and leisure equipment.
