Oslo - Capital Cool! Winter still has a hold on Oslo in March. Although the days are getting longer and brighter and remind us that spring is just around the corner, there are still good skiing conditions in the Oslo forest, whether you prefer cross-country or downhill-skiing. In the Vigeland Sculpture Park, not far from the city center, a whole day of ski events for children takes place on March 8th. 7000-9000 children meet to compete, drink hot chocolate, eat hot-dogs and enjoy themselves in the snow. It's known to be the world's largest ski event for children. www.visitoslo.com/en
