Following the Peer Gynt track
From Skei to Espedalen, about 67 kilometres as the crow flies. 5 days of mountain hiking from hotel to hotel, in the empire of Peer Gynt. The terrain is varied, from walking in scattered birch forests to climbing summits. Most of the time, we will have Jotunheimen, Dovrefjell and Rondane as spectacular backdrops.

Rondane (luggage transport will be arranged)
An 8-day trip in magnificent scenery, with the Rondane massif as a backdrop. Perfect if you prefer hiking alone, while your luggage is being transported from place to place. The trip takes you from hotel to hotel in easy and varied alpine terrain, about 950 to 1000 metres above sea level.

Hiking across Dovrefjell
A 6-day hiking trip in one of Norway's most beautiful mountain terrains. We literally walk through the history of Norway, whilst enjoying the spectacular scenery. Dovrefjell is also well known for its abundant flora and fauna. The terrain is easy and varied alpine terrain.

Dovrefjell — Lillehammer
The trip starts at Hjerkinn and heads due south, in the direction of Folldal, further on to Atnadalen, across Friisveien to Øksendalen. We then proceed southwards on lovely mountain roads in Øyerfjellet, before ending up in Lillehammer. A 6-day trip and a total distance of 250 kilometres on bike.

In the forecourt of Jotunheimen
Mountain bike ride through Gudbrandsdalen and Valdres to Hallingdal. The trip starts at Vinstra in Gudbrandsdalen and ends at Gol in Hallingdal. You may also go the other way, from Gol to Vinstra. A 6-day trip with a total distance of 196 kilometres.

Røros — Lillehammer
Troll bike ride no. 9 is for those who want to experience a really long bike ride. The trip starts at Røros, passes through Vingelen to Savalen, then on to Folldal and down Atnadalen, where you have a fantastic view towards Rondane National Park. The mountain pass between the valleys of Gudbrandsdalen and Østerdalen is accessed by means of Friisveien, which has an altitude of 1100 metres above sea level at its highest point. We then proceed southwards on mountain roads in Øyerfjellet, before ending up in Lillehammer. A 9-day trip with a total distance of 379 kilometres. You may also sign up for a shorter trip which ends in Ringebu, or add more kilometres and go all the way to Hamar.

Family trip, Gålå — Lillehammer
This trip follows the Peer Gynt road, which is a gravel road. It is adapted for families with children with manageable, daily laps and possibilities for other activities along the way. Accommodation in hotels and mountain lodges. A 4-day trip with a total distance of 79 kilometres.

Peer Gynt Road
The alpine main road through Gudbrandsdalen, from Skei in the south, passing through Fagerhøi, Gålå, Fefor and across to Espedalen. Enjoy the magnificent view by Listulhøgda (1053 metres above sea level), where you have a 360 degree panorama of the best known summits in Norway. Excellent conditions both for hiking and biking, and good fishing opportunities. 60 kilometres. The road normally opens around June 1st. Toll road.
Per Gynt mountain farm road
A round trip which starts at Vinstra and passes through the mountain area, before ending up in Kvam. Picturesque mountain farm villages and magnificent mountain landscape. The road passes by the Per Gynt farm, Mjølbøla, ”Borlaug”, Brudebenken and other places mentioned in the tales of the local Per Gynt. The Peer Gynt Park is situated by Rondablikk. It contains a collection of statues from "Peer Gynt". 45 kilometres.
Jotunheimveien
From Skåbu on classified road (rv) 255 to Bygdin (rv 51), through open and pleasant mountain landscapes. Panorama view at Buhø and Vassklepp. By Store Nuten you will find the falcon catchers' site, which has been restored to its original appearance, to look the way it did when it was used in the 17th century. 45 kilometres. The road normally opens in the middle of June. Toll road.

A round trip of Ringebufjellet
Take classified road (rv) 27 across Venabygdsfjellet to Enden, then turn onto rv 219 towards Atna, and finally take Friisveien back to Ringebu. Friisveien is a magnificent mountain pass, at 1158 metres above sea level. Mountain farm villages and nature trails with various features. A detour to Imsdalen is highly recommended. About 120 kilometres.
A round trip of Rondane
Take classified road (rv) 27 across Venabygdsfjellet to Folldal, rv 29 to Hjerkinn, and E6 through Gudbrandsdalen to Ringebu. Alternatively, you may take the road through the mountain farm valley of Grimsdalen. Excellent view towards Rondane. By Atnasjøen, you will have the same view as seen in Norway's national painting, Harald Sohlberg's "A winter's night in Rondane". Distance: about 250 kilometres.
Bjørnsonvegen - RV 255
Turn off the E6 north of Lillehammer or at Vinstra (Gudbrandsdalen), and you are on RV 255 Bjørnsonvegen, a beautiful stretch of national highway. The road passes through a rich cultural landscape, from the farms in the lowland valleys of Vestre Gausdal to the high mountain valley of Espedalen and the fine historic architecture and spectacular precipitous fields in one of Norway's highest villages at Skåbu.
Fåvang, eastern mountains
A lovely round trip from Fåvang, through the mountain village of Brekkom, passing through several old mountain farm villages which have been in use since the 17th century. Stortann is one of the largest mountain farm villages in Norway, and is situated approximately 850 metres above sea level. Here you can visit Sygard Romsåsseter, both for a meal and for accommodation. Toll road.
