Moss offers day-trip walks through lush countryside, along the Oslofjord, through woods and beautiful cultural landscapes to view points and past cafés serving delicious home-made bread, ckaes and hot coffee. Along the way you can stop galleries and handicraft workshops.

The Moss Region is surrounded by water, with the Oslfjord on the one side and the idyllic Lake Vansjø, the area's drinking water source, on the other. The countryside is easily accessible through a comprehensive network of walking trails. Hiking season is from May – October.
