The Nærøyfjord is an arm of the Sognefjord, located in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, in the heart of Fjord Norway, the western part of Norway.
The Nærøyfjord is 17 kilometres long. It is narrow (at its narrowest it is only 300 metres) and wild, surrounded by 1,700 metres tall mountains. The fjord and its surrounding area are included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
