Description

This trip starts in Nybyen. We hike up the moraine landscape along Lars glacier on the side of the mountain Sarkofagen. On Lars glacier, we can see the tracks after summer melting in the form of great meltwater channels. At the top we find a sheltered place where we take a cup of hot drink. The view from the top is tremendous in the clear autumn air. We recommend thermal underwear, warm and windproof outerwear, hiking boots / shoes with good ankle support, and hat. scarves and mittens.
