Description

The Royal Regalia - the Crown, Sceptre, Orb, Sword of State and Royal Standard - are symbols of royal power. The most important function of the Regalia in times past was associated with coronations. The Norwegian Regalia are still in use and thus represent the country´s form of government as a more than thousand-year-old monarchy.

The Royal Regalia exhibition is closed on weekdays in weeks 9-12. Otherwise open every day Tuesday-Sunday.
