Klatreskogen Grand Park

The Climbing Forest is situated next to the Mineral Park, in a natural pine forest on the banks of the river Otra.

The mighty river Otra meanders into a pretty sandy bay providing the perfect location for a climbing park. The trees in the forest are more than a hundred years old. The south facing beach area and surrounding rocky peninsula has been a historical gathering place for centuries. The Grand Park has 35 different activities, all of which are built into the trees at a height between 4 and 8 metres. There are four zip wires, each approximately 200 metres long, and all cross the bay.

Grand Park. For adults and children from age 10 and up.

The view from the treetops is stunning, and the location of the “Klatreskogen” is without doubt an area of outstanding natural beauty. The water is crystal clear and on a calm day you can see fish swimming on the bottom of the river as you fly across it on zip wires. New sessions every 30 minutes, duration of 2 hours. Each participant must undergo a compulsory 15-minute safety course prior to starting the session. The are several instructors in the park who will ensure that the safety rules are obeyed as you move around. The Grand Park include rope bridges, Tarzan swings, ladders, balance activities, nets and zip wires.
