Round trip with bus and ferry -Jotunheimen og Valdresruten Bilselskap

Contact information

Description

This is one of the prime experiences in Valdres and the FjellNorway region – a round trip with bus and boat that combines a beautiful cultural and mountainous landscape in Valdres and Jotunheimen! You can start from either Fagernes, Beitostølen, Eidsbugarden or Tyinkrysset. For more than 100 years, M/B Bitihorn has served on Lake Bygdin.  At 1060 m above sea level, this is one of the highest running boat services in northern Europe and a number of 2000 meter peaks can be viewed on this trip.

New in 2014: Every Thursday, M/B Bitihorn will have an earlier departure on the first trip from Eidsbugarden and Bygdin. This will allow our guests to enjoy many more hiking trips in combination with bus, M/B Bitihorn and Gjendebåten. Leave you car behind and let comfortable buses transport you to the mountains!

Period: End of June until mid September.

Tickets can be bought on the bus. For more information about time tables, route descriptions and rates, visit www.jvb.no/bitihorn
