Description

Ljoshaugen, with its 17 holiday cabins, nestles 700 meters above sea level and is widely known for its beautiful location and magnificent views, which are among the best in Gudbrandsdalen.

Autumn on Dovrefjell mountain simply must be experienced. Scintillating colours, snow-covered mountain peaks and tranquil sunny days promise a unique holiday experience.

We also warmly recommend Dombås in winter. There’s a very high chance of snow in the Dombås area and there’s normally great skiing from November to April. There are two ski lifts just 600 meters away, with four downhill runs of up to 2700 meters, with an altitude difference of 350 meters.

Ljoshaugen is an excellent base for exploring the 200-250 km of diverse and well-prepared ski trails, that run through sheltered mountain forests and superb mountain terrain. The ski arena and biathlon stadium are also nearby.

Winter and Easter skiing in Dombås can be the experience of a lifetime, and Easter often has the magical combination of bright sunshine, glistening ski runs and dazzling mountain plateaus. Spring skiing, in April and May, can also be excellent. For winter and Easter stays, please contact us for further information.

Family-friendly prices.
