The Tusse Trail is where the youngest members of the family can get introduced to cross-country skiing-uphill,downhill and straight ahead- in an easy terrain.

The cross-country arena at Hovden is an excellent starting point. Go from parking place to the end of the stadium.Turn right towards Røyrvik-åsen. Follow the outer trail along the Hartevatn lake. The complete round is approximately 3km, but there is no shame in turning back if the little ones get tired.

Bjåen Fjellstove Mountain Lodge

Bjåen offers a good bed, a warm hearth, and home-baked bread. Many hiking trails await in the mountains nearby. Guests can borrow boats to go fishing.
