Description

There is a wide range of scenic hikes in the
Odda area. Surrounded by Hardangervidda nationalpark in the east, Folgefonna nationalpark in the west and the valley of Odda with impressive waterfalls in the south, the area is an eldorado for hikers from all over the world. A peaceful walk along the Sandvinsvatnet lake, hike into the egde of the Folgefonna glacier, hike for days from cabin to cabin in Hardangervidda nationalpark, reach one of the peaks above 1000 metres or do a historical walk in Tyssedal. We have plenty enough to choose from for all types of hikers!

Suggestions:
- Trolltunga and Preikestolen, 8-10 hours return trip
a trip to two spectacular rock formations
- Buerdalen and Buer glacier, 3 hours return trip.
footpath to the edge of the glacier,
- Lilletopp 1 hour return
trip to the top of the waterpipes in Tyssedal
- Jordalstølen 3 hours return
Hike up to a summer farm passing a great waterfall
- Rossnos 6 hours return
Fantastic view at 1400 m.a.s.l Note: steep and exhausting
- Mosdalsbu 4 hours return
Beautiful terrain by the Ringedal Dem
- Holmaskjer 5 hours one way!
Hike up to a cabin at the Folgefonna glacier
