Discovery Route. Along this historical route between Stavanger and Bergen (established for tourists in the 1880s), you will experieince the magnificent fjords of Ryfylke and Hardanger. See impressive glaciers, crystal clear rivers, roaring waterfalls, tranquil lakes and pristine fjords. All of Norway is powered by clean, renewable, hydroelectric power!

Among the major sights along Discovery Route are the Preikestolen, Suldal with its Salmon Studio and 60's architecture at Nesflaten, the stave church in Røldal, the Folgefonna glacier with summer ski centre, the Trolltunga near Odda, Husedalen at Kinsarvik, Mikkelparken at Kinsarvik, the new Hardanger bridge, the city of Voss known for rafting and extreme sports, the Flåmsbanen railway to the Sognefjord and of course the hanseatic city of Bergen.
