Grønolen Mountain Lodge is situated at Beitostølen, 800 m.s.l. surrounded by majestic mountains. The area is ideal for cycling! This 4-day program is best suited for experienced cyclists, but it can be altered to fit your needs.
Day 1: Arrival and 3-course dinner
Day 2: Cycle around the fjord Øyangen
Day 3: Cycle across the mountain plateau Slettefjell
Day 4: Breakfast and departure
The Øyangen route is 35 km. It is an easy cycling tour around the beautiful lake Øyangen. We recommend a stop at the Høvda Sylv og Tre (silver and wood gallery) and at Valdres Sølvsmie og Keramikk (silver and ceramics).
The Slettefjell route is 50 km. A demanding tour with a 6 km climb from 703 to 1315 m.s.l. On the top of the mountain plateau Slettefjell, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Valdres and Jotunheimen National Park.

Food is the main focus at Grønolen and their ambition is to provide their guests with a taste sensation they will not forget. It’s also a perfect starting point for hiking tours in Jotunheimen and you can join guided mountain hikes Mondays to Fridays in the summer season. Bicycle rental at Destination Beitostølen.
