Though, it has proved to become an important part of Sannidal and a meeting point for the locals. Tangen is also a very important place for the infrastructure. All the roads are from here connected with the E18, towards Krisitansand and Oslo, and 351 and 38.

The 'Bygdetun' is situated close to the church of Sannidal, which is a wooden church built in 1771. As many other church, the church in Sannidal is perceived to be a natural centre of the area.

Further, Sannidal is a dreamland for anyone interested in hunting, fishing, hiking and swimming. Tveitereid and Tyvann along the highway are both popular places to visit. Tyvann is situated close to the local camping site Støa. Here you find not only locations suitable to stay overnight, but a peaceful sweet water with a beach and a pier. If you are looking for more action, Breivann is supposedly full of sweet water fishes, and it is welcoming for experts and non-professional fishermen.
