Description

Sola Strand Hotel is idyllically situated by one of Norway’s most beautiful beaches, close to Stavanger Airport Sola. Great city life attractions in bustling Stavanger are only a 15 minutes drive from the hotel. We offer several atmospheric premises for all kinds of events. Our restaurant is first class and the menu is based on the very best produce inspired by Norwegian culinary traditions.

Sola Strand Hotel’s style, atmosphere and augustness have characterized the hotel ever since 1914. The hotel is full of historic treasures like illustrated newspapers from 1840 and Mathilde Christiane, the figurehead of a Swedish bark of the same name that was shipwrecked on the coastline of Jæren in 1822. The heart of the hotel is the original fireplace from 1914, welcoming you in the lobby.

Our location makes Sola Strand Hotel the perfect place for meetings and conferences, incentive trips and corporate events. The newest addition to the hotel was opened in 2010 and consist new conference rooms, guest rooms and a spa. The Nordsjøbadet Spa offers a great range of treatments, a pool and saunas in a relaxing and rejuvenating setting.

By 2012 a brand new conference centre with plenary capacity to 300 persons as well as further new hotel rooms will be completed.
