Description

"Skipperhuset" (The Captain's House) is a pension with a difference. It is a white painted, wooden house with adjacent boathouse and dock - typical of this part of Norway.

"Skipperhuset" is more than just another "B&B" The hosts will serve three meals a day. They both enjoy cooking and entertaining.

Boats are available for fishing. However, you may also fish and swim off the dock. The host will help prepare or pack your catch of fish or crabs.

"Skipperhuset" is also the perfect place for yachtsmen in want of a night ashore enjoying a hot shower and sauna followed by a gourmet meal.
The depht alongside the dock is about 9 ft. and water and electricity are available.

This is the perfect place to unwind and relax in glorious surroundings. Enjoy exquisite food and good wine. Lovely garden and private quay.

How to get here:

Follow Rv 44 through Flekkefjord, then Rv 469 to Kvellandstrand. Board the ferry. Once on Hidra follow the road towards Rasvåg, and then directions towards "Skipperhuset".

Ferry The ferry departs every hour from 6:35 am till 11:35 pm. Between 2.05 pm and 5.05 pm every half hour. (Monday - friday)
