Description

In the heart of Grünerløkka is Parkteatret, originally built as a Norway's first cinema in 1907. Today it is a popular bar and one of the city's most important concert venues.

Parkteatret Bar
The bar in the old cinema foyer is a great place to meet before a concert or to have a drink with friends. The extensive bar menu features classic cocktails and a large selection of beers and single malt whiskeys. In the daytime the bar serves coffee, sandwiches and a selection of bar snacks like olives, cheeses and sausages.

Parkteatret Scene
The concert stage is compact, giving everyone in the audience a chance to get close to the perfomers. the The acoustics are excellent. Parkteatret Scene hosts concerts, documentary film screenings, premieres and club nights.
