Description

The café in Hønse-Lovisas hus serves great coffee, delicious cakes and simple lunches.

This idyllic little house is a great place to stop on your walk along the river Akerselva. The name Hønse-Lovisas hus ("Hen-Lovisa's house") comes from a literary character.

The House was built in 1800 as a sawmiller's house, and today it is a café and cultural meeting place, where the arts and crafts of today meet tradition and history of the past.

The shop has handmade arts and crafts for sale.
