State licence fee to fish
Everyone over 16 years old who would like to fish for salmon or sea trout must pay a state licence fee, use this link: http://fiskeravgift.miljodirektoratet.no/. In most of cases you also need to purchase a fishing permit from the landowner locally.

More information from the tourist information offices and the Environment protection department at Fylkesmannen in Rogaland.

Sea fishing
It is allowed to fish in the sea without any fee/permit all along the coast. All you have to do is find an area that suits your likings.
